Although all MS-Access security is inherited by the Access/Oracle application created by Scriptoria, this only protects the Access front-end application from unauthorized use. The corresponding (migrated) Oracle database (back-end) should also be secured.
Use the Access to Oracle Security Wizard to create Oracle users and groups and to grant Oracle privileges equivalent to the table and query permissions assigned to the selected Access users and groups.
Use the Groups and Users list boxes to select the users and groups for whom you wish to grant or revoke privileges. Then select the User who will be granting the privileges and that user’s password. Since NORTHWIND was created by Scriptoria, the password is Oracle.
Pressing Grant Privileges will create and deploy Oracle CREATE USER and GRANT statements that implement Access table security, for all corresponding Oracle tables found in the current schema, for all selected users and groups.
