Scriptoria will calculate initial Oracle disk storage requirements based on the data in the current Access database. Table spaces may be created for tables, lobs and indexes using the calculated initial values or ones you manually assign.
Choose Options | Assign Storage from the Scriptoria main or shortcut menus to display the Storage Assignments form. Oracle table spaces may be assigned to tables, Lobs, and indexes.
The current table and assigned table space are listed at the top of the screen. The indexes (and their assigned table spaces) defined for the current table are shown in the Indexes data sheet in the middle of the screen. You can select a table by choosing an entry from the Access Tables combo box or by using the record navigation controls at the bottom of the screen.
The table space combo-boxes list all table spaces available to the current user and includes a ‘(Default)’ entry. To assign a table space to a table, lob or index, just select the entry from the associated table space combo box. Assigned table spaces are included when table definitions and/or primary, unique or secondary indexes are created. Note: the table space specification is omitted from table and index statements when the ‘(Default)’ is selected.
To assign LOB table spaces, use the horizontal scroll bar beneath the table space list to view and set LOB tables spaces for a given table.
