Assign DB2 Data Types to Individual Columns

You can override the default data type assignment by assigning data types to individual DB2 columns. Note that when DB2 tables are imported, all columns are automatically assigned data type overrides.

Select an Access Table from the combo-box to display the data type settings for the current column.

The DB2 data type override is displayed in the DB2 Type column. When blank, the data type default setting is used.

Click the combo-box arrow to display the data type choices for the current column. For Character, Long Object, Decimal, Identity and DataLink columns, pop-up forms are displayed after selecting a combo-box entry, where additional information may be supplied.
