DB2 Update Status Page

The Status page displays detailed information about the progress of the DB2 update. 

Information about the current DB2 database, operating platform and version are displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

Press the Stop button to abort the update process. (You can always re-synchronize the database models at a later time.)

Table: The table currently being analyzed or deployed.

Phase: There are two phases to update process, Analysis and Deployment. Scriptoria first compares the Access and DB2 data models to determine the changes that need to be made to synchronize the databases. In Prototyping Mode, some changes may require additional user input and/or acknowledgement as described in Extended Alterations.

Operation: A description of the operation being performed by Scriptoria.

SQL: During deployment phase, this field shows the DB2 SQL being executed.

 

Press the STOP button to abort processing. Note that with some operations, like IMPORT or LOAD, processing may take some time before halting. Scriptoria has no control over the behavior of other programs or API's.

 

Press the SQL button to view the DDL and/or DML generated for the current DB2 update operation. This button is enabled after the Analysis Phase is completed.

 

Press this button to display the log resulting from a DB2 Import operation. This button is only visible after Import operations are performed.

 

Press this button to display the operation status of each DB2 statement after deploying the generated DDL and/or DML. This button is only enabled after completion of the Deployment Phase of the operation.
