User Error Messages
This feature has been included for those wishing to convert applications
in non-English speaking countries. Some generated triggers contain
English
error messages that are displayed to the end-user. The
English
text messages can be replaced by using this form to supply non-English
ones.
Choose Options | User
Error Messages from
the Scriptoria main menu to display the following menu.
Language Code: There
are six predefined records, with Language Codes 001 through 006. The 001
entry is the default English setting. Choose a different Language Code
to replace English messages with those you have defined.
Message Number: This
field contains the message code associated with listed error message.
It cannot be changed.
Message: This
text box contains the error message text. Use this field to enter equivalent
error messages for non-English applications.
Where
Used: Displays the type of trigger (i.e., CHECK constraint, referential
integrity constraint requiring cascade update, etc.) that contains the
English error message.
